Psalms 114- God Made A Way For His People
Like Israel coming out of Egypt
So have we come out of dark to light
God has made a way for His people
He has given us sight
Remember the days of old
Remind yourself of the guilt of sin
Praise God for His severe mercy
From all that is within
For God carved a path for us
By sacrificing the lamb
Through Jesus on the cross
You are the Great I Am
Psalms 113- Praise Him!
What does God’s servant do?
Praise Him!
When our family is gathered together
Praise Him!
In the rising of the sun
Praise Him!
In the setting of the day
Praise Him!
In the quiet of our hearts
Praise Him!
In the most tumultuous of waters
Praise Him!
When life seems barren and without hope
Praise Him!
When joy overflows our hearts
Praise Him!
In all things forevermore
Praise Him!
May these words be a simple act
To Praise Him!
Psalms 112- God Alone Is My Might
Who is this righteous man?
It is the one who fears the Lord
Who greatly delights in His commandments
For Christ is the one he adores
There is a light that shines brightly
That the darkness cannot overthrow
When our hope is in Christ
There is a richness that overflows
Calamity does not shake the righteous man
His house is built solidly on The Rock
Trusting in the Lord today and forever
For He is a part of God’s flock
God, put righteous in my heart today
Help me seek what is right
For You are my strength and solace
God alone is my might
Psalms 111- Give Thanks To God!
Give thanks to God!
In the quiet of your place
Or in middle of the congregation
We celebrate God’s works and grace
Study what He has done
Remember His works in your life
Draw near to the Lord
In peace and in strife
When God works, he brings about life
And for this we put to fear Him
Practice this fear like it is your job
God, put your Word in our heart like a hymn
Psalms 110- His Right Hand Hath Defeated Death
When a child sits at the table
They wait eagerly in excited breath
So I rest by the Lord’s side
His right hand hath defeated death
Ride freely Lord
Rule with Your mighty Rod
Your mind is fixed on the covenant
Over evil kings You will trod
When death seems imminent
When all hope seems naught
We’ll drink by the brook of Your goodness
And treasure all You’ve taught
Psalms 109- Your Faithfulness Everyone Will See
Do not still Your lips Father
Nor pause Your steps Lord
For the enemy attacks
They come at me in hordes
But today I sit before You
I come to You in earnest prayer
Knees down, heart quiet
All I want is Your tender care
Go before me as evil strikes
Wipe the wicked out who spew hate
Because Your name is steadfast
Deliver those who walk the narrow and straight
For my legs shake and quiver
My heart trembles within me
Save me Lord!
So Your faithfulness everyone will see
Psalms 108- We Must Draw Near To Your Throne
Awake my friends!
God’s love is vast today
Let’s give thanks to the Lord
With all of our hearts we pray
Your faithfulness is a daily gift
The best one we could find
Love that reaches beyond the heavens
You my Savior are kind
Help us Father against our foes
We cannot walk this life alone
Our own strength is not enough
We must draw near to Your throne
