This is not a party trick or gimmick
Or something to occupy us when we are bored
Take it in, breathe it out
do not forsake these words
Wear them as a graceful pendant
Stay far from the evil herd
Run! Run! Away from sinners
Hold your foot from their paths
For they are setting a trap for themselves
Soon to incur great wrath
When you heed God’s wisdom
He will pour out His spirit to you
His words will refresh your body
Reminding you what is true
The choice is simple
Fear the Lord our King
Dwell securely with Him
So disaster will not sting
