Proverbs 4- The Blessing of A Fathers Instruction
A fathers instruction is good
Do not forsake his instruction
Hold fast to wisdom
The commandments hold you from destruction
When you follow the ways of wisdom
The years of your life will be long
Be led down the path of uprightness
So your life will be a song
It all comes down to this
Get wisdom my son
Treasure up insight
Until the day is done
Do not enter the wicked place
Do not walk among the evil
For they lie in wait
They live for upheaval
But righteousness, that is beautiful!
Precious like the morning dawn
Shining brighter each moment
Sweeter than the young fawn
Keep your heart like a guarded fortress
For it flows goodness and life
Ponder the ways of your steps
Run from all the evil strife!
